im in riyadh ksa, i have 2 kids, the mother of my husband took care for them. they are not allowing me to talk to my children. even phone calls. what legal step will i do if im going to take them back?

Well, as a woman you have no rights. You husband has the right to make a decision, not you. The best thing for you to do is go to the American Embassy and seek help on what steps you will need to take (this is of course if you are American if not than whatever embassy of your origin). If you are a KSA citizen you will have no recourse. I am sorry for this mishap, but you need to know these types of possiblities. Have you ever seen the movie "Not Without My Daughter?"

Well, sorry to hear that and at the same time sorry to see such an answer from other people that is based on nothing but stereotype and Hollywood movies as you can tell.

1-In Saudi Law and in Islamic law, the mother have the first right to take care of her children unless there is a strong reason why not to.
2-Even if the mother lost custody of her kids, still she have the right to see her kids unless ,again, there is a strong and compelling reason for other than that.
3-One thing thou, if the mother is to leave the country , then the kids to stay with there father , that the Saudi law just like in the USA, the kids to stay with the parent that is in the USA.
