My son was involved in a accident and died he was passenger The local police and the hospital never notified me. He had his Id on him. Is there a law that states they have to notify you?

The hospital usually do not report these kinds of things to family members. That is usually the job of the police.
If the police did not notify you, who did? |

They have to do so reasonably soon but you cannot sue for that normally--not for a few hours.
