Default community property?

I am in divorce proceedings and my husband is asking me to pay half of a debt that he borrowed from his father that I did not sign or agree to. Do I have an obligation in a community property state.

Default Re: community property?

If he's asking and there is nothing in writing stating you also owe the bill, then no, you are under no obligation to pay off his debt to his father.
