Hello,
I am new to these forums and I hope I am posting my question in the appropriate forum. My query is what happens with the original marriage certificate and its origional translation if husband and wife reconcile after the decree Nisi has been issued in UK? Looking forward to hear from you. |

I am not sure what do you mean by it is not valid. Husband and wife got all the opportunity to reconcile unless decree absolute is granted by the UK civil courts. As courts holds the original marriage certificate and the attested translation if the marriage took place in any other country and the marriage certificate is not in English. Couple can write a letter to the district judge and request them to return the original papers, I came to know that my telephoning the Family Section. |
