Angry Who pays court costs?

My husbands ex wife was found in contempt of court in Cherokee Ok.She was ordered to pay a 1,000 dollar fine to my husbands attorney for her services. The attorney then billed my husband for that amount. He is now expected to pay his ex wifes fine and then try to get his ex wife to reimburse him for the bill.Is it legal for my husbands attorney to bill him for a fine that his ex wife was ordered to pay?

Default Re: Who pays court costs?

If the order was for legal services and intended to cover all costs then the lawyer cannot bill again on that. But he can make sure the bill is paid and if not by her then by him...
