My boyfriends ex is selling her house and taking his son to live in another town. That was her decision to do that and I suggested he talk to a lawyer to see who is going to be the one to do all the travelling. It was her decision to take him and my boyfriend shouldnt have to travel and use gas that he does not have to go and pick him up. Not that he wont. he loves his son ver much and would do anythign for him. Will she be made to either pick him up or drop him off and he can either pick him up or drop him off. Also she lied in court and said she cant work. She can work but has dr's signing notes for her. She had a hysterectomy over a year and half ago. In the divorce settlement he was ordered to pay her $450.00 a week and cant take her back to court until she maes over $25,000. She wont ever do that because they made him pay her too much. any way in the divorce agreement it says that he can take her back to court if she is cohabitating. She will be living with her mom and dad. She will have no more mortgage, no utility bills, etc. I know she will go to court and lie and say that her parents are making her pay x amount of money. Her daddy has bought her a new van, helped her pay her mortgage and now she will lie and say he is making her pay bills. My question is will his payment get lowered if she is cohabitating and has none of the bills. As the divorce papers say. Its scary because nothing went his way in the divorce. We also live in Ct. Is there any way to go about changing the divorce laws? The men in this state get killed by these woman who dont want to work and lie and cheat.

He can go back to court and object and make sure there are rules for how the visitation will be done and how expenses will be handled.
The court will impose some kind of fair solution if they cannot agree. |

Does he need to hire a lawyer to do that. The divorce killed him monetarily. he has filed banckruptcy and cant afford an attorney.

he wont be able to get it technically he earns too much money even though his ex gets $450.00 a week for lying in court.

If she is getting a doctor's note saying that she can't work, then she can't work. she living with her parents is not cohabitating..See Definition Below and no she doesn't have to bring the child to him by law as of now. Is it possible to get her to do it? You will have to go back to court on that.
cohabitation n. living together in the same residence, generally either as husband and wife or for an extended period of time as if the parties were married. Cohabitation implies that the parties are having sexual intercourse while living together, but the definition would not apply to a casual sexual encounter. Legal disputes have arisen as to whether cohabitation would refer to same sex partners, which is important to those involved since "cohabitation" is the basis of certain rights and privileges under various laws, regulations and contracts. The findings of the courts vary on this question, but the trend is to include long-standing homosexual relationships as cohabitation. |
