Confused No contact order/visitation

i need to know if anyone has any advice, phone numbers i can call or if i'm fighting a lost cause.

may 16 2008 my fiancee was arrested for felony injury to a child. he hit his older son (with another woman) and left bruises on his face and neck. he has admitted to anger problems and is undergoing anger management and counseling. there is currently a no contact order in place for ANYONE under the age of 18 against him and no one will arrange a visit for my fiancee and our 5 month old son. i was told to file to have the NCO order reviewed and revised, but i don't have the money for an attorney to represent my fiancee in court, let alone to do paperwork. no legal aide that i have called will help him and we've lost our home due to the fact that he was in an auto accident with no insurance and is unable to work. i want my family back together, problems or not this man has done so much for me and now he is losing everything and nobody but me seems to care. please respond here or to goodgirlz_101@hotmail.com. any response is appreciated

You can do that without a lawyer if need be.

Just get the order and copy it and use the same format and send to the judge and ask for the chance to have it reviewed.

The judges realize not everybody can afford a lawyer.

Lightbulb Re: No contact order/visitation

ok, thats no problem, i guess now my question is what exactly do i ask for? he has had supervised visits with his older son through the department of health and welfare but they dont want the baby there against the no contact order. the prosecuting attorney said she wants the charges resolved before the baby and i can be with him. should i ask for supervised visits specifically for our baby as well or just ask that the NCO be lifted entirely? he cant even go to the grocery store hes so afraid of getting in trouble for being in contact with kids.

My Sons mother and I have been separated for almost three years now. she is
21 years old. and I am 25 Her and I were never married. My son is three years old. My question is: another man is trying to come into my sons life and has taken my son emotionally away from me, by spending the day with him and she is telling me that this gut used to be a camp counselor when he was young and i'm finding it hard to believe what she says. My Ex and I were friends for a while and had good communication until she started seeing this guy recently that her friend introduced her to, and I'm trying to ask her how my son is doing and all i get from her is none of your business or f*** off and others words from her. I feel that my position as a parent is being threatened. Do I have any legal grounds to take action so this other guy doesn't get involved in my sons life?

Big Grin Re: No contact order/visitation

go to the court house and get an application for visitation and file it with the registrar, they will help you. I dont think it costs anything. They will give you a court date to be heard and you can have her attend. You can make sure you have letters from people stating your a good guy, good worker, good friend, church goere etc. Don't shoot her down. Just explain to the court that all atempts to speak to her about your child have failed. Are you paying Child support. If you are not then maybe you should think about helping her out. The judge wont look kindly on that one. Dont yell and call names be a friend and father and show you can handle this situation and maybe get some supervised visitation or the right to have your child once in a while. Yes you do have rights. you can read your rights at the library in law books and what you need to do and what papers to file. lawyers cost lots you dont necessiarly need to put yourself in debt for this. lavisa
