discipline with school
My son started 1st grade last week. I was shocked to read what a teacher
sent home to be signed. They are making the kids as young as Kindergarten to 6th grade walk a white line during recess if they get in trouble in class. It seems that all the kids know of this white line and why kids are on it. Is this not public humiliation in front of other kids during recess? If they get in trouble first time they get there car removed, 2nd time they have to walk 5 min and 3rd time 10 min during there recess. Again I find this harsh to make them do this in front of all the other kids. This is not in the handbook of discipline they gave out. What is your take? |
