Nude Pictures
My friend dated this man for about a year and during that time she allowed him to take nude and scantly clad pic of her. The got married but the marriage only lasted 4 months and she is divorcing him. He is showing the pic's around, he sent one to her mother anonymously and now claims he has sold them to a sex site on the internet. These pictures were taken with her permission and willing participation. She is really freaked out!
Can he legally do this? Does she have any legal recourse? Can she sue for get pictures back or to just stop him? |

the ex husband took the pictures he has copy rights to them. Although he didnt have explicit written authority to use them for the purpose he did so the lady in question has recourse. She owns the copy right of her own body. She may sue him for copy right infringement. Good idea to file a copy right protection on those pictures as they are of her before he does. check your local library on copy right protection. lavisa

He cannot use them beyond the private use for which permission was given.
She could sue and seek damages and/or get a court order restraining him. |
