Angry Cheapskate Family & School.

My bastard parents have been gouging me for every penny that I earn. Recently, I told them no more, and they threw me out.

They're not poor, or on the verge of bankruptsy. They go out every weekend to eat at expensive restaurants, and my dad comes back every other week with a 400$ tattoo on my dollar.

I'm 20 year old quebecer, trying to finish up my schooling and carry on in my life. My parents were making me go to school full time and work full time, including travel, i was out of the house for about 18 hours a day, getting about 4.5 hours a sleep.

Now, I heard that there's a law somewhere in the Quebec charter that says I can sue them if they're preventing me from going into school and getting an education... It's kinda vague, but I remember hearing something about it. Did I make this up in my head, or does this ring a bell for somebody?

Were they "gouging" you more than you would have paid for rent, utilities, and food if you had been living on your own?
I would think the law about parents interfering with education would only apply to grade school, not college or post-high school education. How were they preventing your from getting an education?
I guess it is time for you to get an apartment, apply for student loans, and head out on your own.
