I am a Filipino citizen and I have 2 children a 17yr old and a 15 yr old. My husband left for the United States 10 yrs ago for a job and has not been back since then. Two years ago he communicated with my sons and sent a few hundred dollars once or twice a year.
Lately, we found out that he is working as a firefighter in California . We visited the website of that particular fire department and knew of his latest promotion. We also found a picture of him with a caption stating that he has a "wife" and 2 children, a 9-yr old and 3 yr old daughters. How can I demand regular financial support from him for his children's schooling here in the Philippines? I presumed he is now a US citizen. Is there a California Family Law that I can use against him? What is the best way to do it? |

Yes contact the Child Support Enforcement office in California.
World Law could also assist if you if need be. |
