second spause rights
I have being married with my husband for 8 years now, and we are thinking to have kids next year, however he has an 11 year old from his first marriage. I would like to know if legally she has any rights on our things and property? We live in Illinois.

She has no rights that are not spelled out in the divorce orders.

We have been married 7 yrs I'm the 2nd spouse & his wife is getting everything. Also in IL.

How is his former wife "getting everything"? Seven years after the divorce, everything should have been divvied up long ago.
