Parenting Time help?
I am trying to find an actual case article or anything really, on what rights each parent has when it comes to an already agreed upon parenting plan. Main problem - parenting plan states they will exchange child at a specified time. Father keeps the child later than the time specified. Since that interfered with the mother's time, she kept the child over also, the same amount that the father did. Now the father has filed a motion to hold the mother in contempt for violating the parenting agreement. Any ideas where to look???

Here in Ontario Canada we have the Child and Family Services Act which governs all Family court issues such as custody and support. There is also the Courts Of Justice Act - Family Law Rules. And we also have the Children's Law Reform Act.
Not sure what they would be called elsewhere in North America though. Last edited by PapaJohn : May 17th, 2008 at 01:06 PM. |
