I was wondeting in the state of CT. When a couple gets divorced does the ex husband have to pay the ex wifes cobra insurance? I have never heard of that but was intersted. Also if she has a life insurance policy on him doe she keep it on him? What if he meets someone else and they get a life insurance policy on him? Why would the ex want to keep it?

He would probably need to keep her on Cobra for a while, but this and the other matters you mention are all up for negotiation at the time of the divorce and it is the judge who will make the ultimate decision.
