I thought I would ask for some free legal advice on this. My partner lives
in another country. I live in Texas. I married his mother so he and I can be togehter in the United States. I want to know what forms (if free) I can use for our relationship. 1.) to show legal status between he and as being partners (this I know is limited) 2.) Should the relationship termninate between he and I, what I can do to protect myself. I would still be family and his father, but would not be his significant other. I know there is a form for palimony. I have thought of using this. But I want to be protectected for myself. I do not want a divorce and when I married, I married for long term. I would like to know what are my options in this should he decide he wish to terminate our relationship? You can contact me at clovrboy@netzero.net Last edited by clovrboy : 04-26-2008 at 06:49 PM. You must be joking.
This sounds more like a topic for Maury Povich. |

OK... Seriously, I am not trying to make a joke of this... I am just trying to understand it... Are you saying that you have a gay partner and you are married to his mother just so you can be close to your gay partner, and you want to keep both relationships???? (Partner could mean business partner) If this is the case, then I believe this would be polygamy ( a very strange case of it) and I believe polygamy is illegal in the states. No, I am not trying to keep both relationships, I am not sleeping with her and sleeping with him. Yes, he is my significant other. Aside from the fact that we are both gay. His mother wants him to have a future in the United States, this is why his mother and I married, so she can obtain residence so that she can invite him to come to the United States.
So to clarify that I am not have sexual relations with his mother. We married for legal purposes so that he may come abroad and live in the US. |

Yikes...that is not really following the law. You all will have a few issues if Immigration does not believe your stories.
Maybe should have immigration counsel get you back on a better course. |

Re: My Issue Is Different, please give me direction to turn to for this
Instead of everyone thinking this is a joke, and such. How about a little seriousness in the issue. His mother and I live together. By Law We are married. This is settled and finished. Is there any thing that I can do to such as pallimony that I might be able to use as a document between me and him. We (his mother and I) have discussed already on the possibility of returning to Peru for my residence. Now besides from all the jokes and the laugher, the snickers can someone give me at least a little hint as to what paper work I might be able to use?

I have not seen a single joke or snicker in this entire thread. In fact I have seen several very serious replies to your posts. Clovrboy, what you have done and what you are trying to do is ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is no joke, that is a straight out FACT!!!!! If you get caught you will not only be charged with a crime but you will most likely be deported along with your wife (your partner's mother). Last edited by PapaJohn : 04-26-2008 at 09:07 PM. |

We have told you that you have most likely broken federal laws in an effort to circumvent immigration laws. I don't see how we could be more "serious" than that. |
