need answers ???
My daughter is fixing to turn 17 and she is expecting a baby the father of the baby is fixing to be 21. Everyone is telling us that she cannot give the baby the fathers last name because they are not married. We live in Alabama. Is this true or does she have to give it her last name ......any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You might check with your county clerk firstly but if he admits to being the father you can give the child his name in many if not most jurisdictions.
