Confused Abuse of Power of Attorney.

Does a sibling with Power of Attorney have the right to keep other siblings from taking their mother on day or night pass from a private home care facility without just cause when the mother does want these passes?

i had a common law woman who claimed to have a power of attorney for my dad. she was able to keep all health related information from us. she was contacted when he was on his death bed and never contacted us. we also had to have permission to sign him out on visits too.......i'd like to know more also. i am hiring a lawyer to get me a copy of what the nursing home had for a power of attorney because that alone cannot govern health decisions, unless it was a "durable" power of attorney.

A power of attorney cannot impeed the wishes of the maker. There is no irrevocable POA.
