My son has been incarcerated since November and waiting to be evaluated.
In the meantime his wife (she left him for someone else four or five month before that happened) has told him that she wants a divorce. They had three children and her new man just enlisted in the Army and they may relocate him in another state or maybe country. He is afraid of the fact that being there will keep him from not having any saying in his children life or well being. Also, is to skeptical about signing the divorce form. He doesn't have ANYTHING other than few personal properties, so his main concerns are his children and anything that has to do with them and maybe some personal and financial matters that he is not able to attend do. I don't know how that is possible since he is were he is. How can those forms be signed? Doesn't both have to be present? And aren't there any restrictions since he is where he is??? Please, advise!! |

The court will not do that normally. But he should try to get counsel to help intervene in that proceeding to protect his interests.
He can also amend visitation etc. when he gets out. |
