Default Family issues

while i was deployed my wife allowed her mother to use her sears card to help her move into my wifes mothers new house. my wife was in texas as that was were i was stationed. So they agreed as long as her mother pays the bill. She paid it till last aug. Then she changed all the infomation over to her house and kept tellin my wife she was paying. Last night we got a call from the collectors saying we have 24s to pay it off before it goes to legal and they start getting a judgement ready. so i paid it. Now i want the 3 items she bought with it back since she didnt pay the bill and account is under my wifes name. can i go get my stuff?

Default Re: Family issues

You normally cannot seize them--you need to file in small claims and get a judgment.
