Confused Two year rule

I'm an international student. I came to US on J-1 visa with 2-year rule applicable. After returning I stayed in my home country for 1 year. If I'm getting a job here in US after completion of my degree, would I be eligible to get an H-1B visa as I didn't complete 2 year stay in my home country earlier?
