change of status J-1 to F-1 can travel in the time the process?
I'm sended my original papers to change my status to F-1, and i'm J-1, during in this time i don't have my original papers , only my passport and my receipt notice. can i travelling inside the US? Coz the border patrol book , i think, say i only can travell if my original papers, but how if i have to send the original, is illegal i'm travel insid the US with my copies?

If you can show they have been sent, and why, and you have your copies of all, you should normally be okay.
