I received a letter in the mail that said it was not a chain letter and that it was legal. There is a list of 7 names that I send a dollar to, but also include a note that says \"Please add me to you mailing list\". This is what makes it legal. (It also included a LETTER from an ATTORNEY who said he was the one who told the client to add that statEment and that he had done it and was now retired).I then take off the top name and add mine to the bottom and send it to 200 other people, IF ILLEGAL, WHAT MAKES IT SO. IF NOT, I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THIS. Thanks

Hi! i need some help! i would like to know if i set up my own website, and sold my mixed albums from this web site would i be breaking any laws? i understand that i would have to pay royalties to the artist oh around $.08 for songs under five minutes, and $.155 for songs over five minutes. But i am wondering is that all the costs that i will be liable for or are there other things that i have to take into consideration, as really it all just seems to easy. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Colorado

I am taking my ex-wife to court in a contempt hearing. I am preparing my case as to what the court orders were and how she violated them. I am attaching documents that I think are proof of the violations to this paperwork.

How soon before the court date is normal for me to provide these documents to her so she can work on her defense?

One of the things she did was file taxes using our child as a dependent on a year I was supposed to file with the child as a dependent. This cost me $940 in a lost tax refund. I have tax paperwork that was rejected, original court orders and a copy of her taxes showing she claimed our child. This is part of the case that I believe I am supposed to share with her.

How soon do courts require I share the information with her before the hearing?

Thank you,
Mark
