my husband filed for a divorce 4 years ago. been in mediation 4 times he won't settle. had 2 attorneys that cost a fortune. nothing still settled. final hearings have been delayed 4 times. i just want it over. what can i do? is there a statue of limitations on a divorce. i heard after five years, a person is automatically granted a divorce. if so what about the marritial property settlement?

You could ask the judge to impose some deadlines.
He may do so if the delays have been unreasonable. |
