Unhappy will reading and possible mortgage fraud

We are concerned that our 90 year old grandfather was swindled by his son and the son is covering it up so the two daughters are completely shut out. Grandfather's will states that all property goes to son and after all debts, hospital bills are paid off, remaining money would be split 3 ways. The will also states that if any of them contest the will, they are automatically written out of the will immediately. In August, Grandfather signed for a mortgage on his paid off home for 50K. In September, he also signed for a mortgage of 85K on a new home. Both properties have a survivorship clause that goes to the son in the event of his death, who now lives in the new home. Grandfather died in November. We are concerned because if we read this right, then the son will have two completely paid off properties paid by the estate, taken from the money that should have been split 3 ways, rumored to be somewhere near 200K. We don't believe grandfather would in his right mind, add 135,000 in debt at age 90 knowing he did not have long to live. Is there anyone else that believes this was wrong? If the daughters cannot contest the will, how can they fight this? The daughters are living on very limited budgets, and grandfather's money would have been a big help to them. Are there lawyers that can take something like this without an up front fee?

Default Re: will reading and possible mortgage fraud

You could have a lawyer review the whole thing for a few hours and then if he feels there is fraud or that there are other improper acts, you could decide what to do.

--usually you will pay hourly fees for this kind of matter
