Confused grandmother in nursing home

my nana has early onset of alzheimers and was originally deemed incompetent while in my mothers care. she has lost some memory and will repeat or lose train of thought quite easily, however, she will still dress and shower on her own. my mother had custody of nana and they never really got along even with both their right minds, then nana's sister whom has never had a relationship with her took emergency custody from my mom stating she thought nana was being neglected. my uncle is the only other child of nana and backed her 100% i spoke to both my uncle and great aunt and asked that my nana be allowed to stay with my family and they convinced me that she woudl be better off with her sister in maine where we are from ( i'm currently living in NH) and that June(sister) has money to help her care. i was adamant that she not be placed in a nursing home until the very end because that's not what she wanted and i wanted her here with me and since my great aunt and nana have had many strifes throughout their lives that i didn't think it would work out, also because my nana used to come and stay for extended visits while she was in my mothers care and she would say, i never want to go to a home, and i don't want to go to June's(her sister) " I will run every chance i get and come here". (Which she did, she ran and ran and ran and June and my nana would get into physical altercations) At that point eight months later, June placed my nana in a home. I found out a month after. What can I do or where to go to have her with me. i am a stay at home mom and have the time, love and patience to have her here with family.. not a home!
