filial legal obligation towards an elderly,estranged parent
What is the legal responsibility,if any, to provide care for an elderly ,sick parent from whom one is estranged.? If it varies from one state to another and a parent resides in a state different than the state in which a child resides what are the rules?

You normally are not legally required to do so
