Power of attorney: My father in law put everything in a trust...
My father in law put everything in a trust. He got sick and would not sign it over to his son. Now he is going to have to go to a nursing home and can't sign anything . My question is, my husband has a power of attoney that his dad did up in 1985. It is with a lawyer and is notarized. It was never revoked.
Can we use this to get his financial estate in order so we can put him on medical? |

Have that lawyer confirm the status for you but you can use it if it is still valid.
