My grandmother has dementia and wants to come and live with me (her granddaughter). Do I need to become her guardian or do I need to have power of attorney over her finances, medical, etc?

If she has dementia, her signing anything will be null and void, as she is not of sound mind.
You may petition the court for financial and medical guardianship. |
