i have been taking care of my mother for 15 years, she is physically and mentally disabled, she is also mentally incompitant. I am her legal commintee and have been for 10 yrs. I need to put the family home into my name, so mom can get her full benefits from all sorces. also she is willing to do this. My mothers will leaves the home to me upon her death, but owning her home limits her to alot of things she should be recieving. I was told that all I should have to do is contact a land title company and have the property put in my name since i am her legal commintee, I could really use some advise thank you shirley thomas

It is usually not quite that easy and tax issues may also exist.
