Greetings,
My mother is 70 and had a stroke a couple of months ago. She is currently in a rest home due to partial paralysis. She is also beginning to show some signs of mental instabiltiy due to the stroke. Long story short, it doesn't look like she will go back to her home. Given that, we need to deal with her house. Since she rents, we simply need to do something with her belongings. Before we dispose of her property, is there a legal process that we need to follow? I am sure that her property still remains her's even if she can no longer live at home. Thanks. |
