my grandfather was living alone is his wife's home after she passed away. The home was in her daughters name. She said he could live there as long as he liked. He had to go in the hospital for a long period of time. He can no longer live on his own. He moved in with my aunt. We were in the process of getting his things out of the home he was living in of his late wife in her daughters name. They changed the locks and will not let him get the rest of his things. Does he have any legal leg to stand on to get his stuff with the house not in his name

If he was living there the police will normally escort him or his agent to get the items. Or you may get a court order if need be.
World Law's lawyers could also probably intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page. |

Thanks. They have changed the locks. We will contact them to try and get his things with just the police but I doubt they will be so nice.
