I have complete power of attorney over my 93 yr old mother (she is very
competent still)...this was simply a safeguard..I am listed in will and trust as sole owner of her home upon her death. She lives in Leisure Village who has denied me access to take care of her RV (she and my dad have had it for years) She has a drivers license & insurance but cannot drive it so I take her places in it all the time and I also use it. Leis Vill rules states that ONLY A RESIDENT may enter the RV lot to clean, pack, etc the RV and I have been escorted out by security. My mother is no longer able to sit in her walker for 1 or 2 hours in the sun while I prepare or unload the RV to take her out. The car is to hot and I can\'t lock her in the RV with all doors and windows shut to wash it. She has severe arthritis (i.e the walker). That is her only health issue except for being 93 yrs old. She loves her RV trips. Do I have no right to care for the RV without her present? |

A POA should also be able to do so. You could have the police escort you and/or get the local judge to force them to allow you in.
