I had walked out of a 7-11 with a case of beer, which was not mine, the man
could not carry it, has a broken leg. A cop was in the parking lot watching me, im only 19. He left and waited for me to leave, then came up behind me, which i knew it was a cop and i had been drinking so i was doing the speed limit, he said i was speeding and told me to step out of the car. He made me blow and i blew a .07, i had just drank a beer, literally. He took me to the jail and made me blow again, i blew a .06. He then told me i was under arrest and they had to process me and i would be waiting to see if i could get bond. I went to the magistrate and both the cop and her were confused about what i was getting charged with. They didnt know if i needed a bond or anything, they had to pull the books, and the cop couldnt make up his mind about what to charge me with. I walked out with a summons. They didnt finger print me or anything like that, never heard of this kind of situation. I would be thankful if you could advise me in any way. Thank you for your time. Jess |

Where do you live? And, were you drinking and driving? You stated that you had "just drank a beer"...

Ask for the exact charges and if charges do exist get a lawyer to negotiate for you
