I recently got a minor in possession of alcohol. The police officer wrote down the wrong address that this occurred at. Does anyone know if I can fight this ticket since I can prove that I was not at the address cited on the ticket?

The court will often correct such errors. That will not be an absolute defense.

So in reading the other post - my daughter received an MIP - on the ticket
they put the wrong driver license number and date of birth - so the judge
can just correct the information and she will still be charged? Your response
would be appreciated - she has court date on the 29th.

You can try to use that as a defense; it works sometimes but not often if everybody knows what is intended.

I just recently recieved what I thought was and MIP but the ticket says possess/purchase of alcohol by personn 18-20. Now I was very drunk when I recieved this charge, but the cop never made me take a breathalizer test. Is there anyway I can get out of this or not?
