Default is this legal?

my son has a R.I licence and was arrested for d.u.i. in florida , then (fl) suspended his licence ,he went to get it back in (ri) and (fl)never told (ri) now (ri)is suspending him for 3months longer is this legal?

They do coordinate now and can suspend for infractions in another state unfortunately; contact both DMV's and see what formal or informal hearing mechanisms may be able to help resolve this.

Our attorneys could also become directly involved, though we normally do charge a basic fee for that.
