Confused Dui in state of Kentucky, but live in Michigan

My 16 year old daughter who lives in Michigan was visiting her father in Ohio. She took a drink of liquor with some "new friends" she just met. My daughter and a girl friend had to leave and this girls was driving my daughters dads car. They got lost, ended up in Kentucky, saw a cop, pulled behind a building and this girls told my daughter she didn't have a license. Sadly my daughter "saved her butt" jumped in the car seat and the officer came to them and she blew .038. I told her dad to get a lawyer, this is her 1st offence. He said they didn't need one...so he did not get an attorney. Went to COURT, has classes to attend, court fees and now Michigan was notified. Her Michigan license is restricted plus huge assessments fees. Is this on her record for life, esp. when she applys for jobs, college. Is there anyhting I can do here in Michigan to clear this up and get off her record. Im so upset her dad didn;t get a lawyer.
What should I do....

It may be yes.

Consult with counsel now about having that sealed or expunged at some point if it is permanently on the record currently.
