Confused Can a person be charged with a DWI at a later date? - Minnesota

I was in a fender bender the other day and dont recall any of it-In between we must of exchanged names because the cop came over a hour later to give me the police report - On the police report it states nothing about me drinking or was I given any tests when the cop came to my house - Can a person be charged with a DWI at a later date, I would think if I would of been charged and I was home I am safe but with all the laws I an unsure.

Can anybody answer this or let me know about a similiar situation.
