Driving w/ a suspended license in NJ

6 months ago I recived a DWI in the state of NJ and had my license suspended for 7 months. I have a PA drivers license, but work in NJ and need to drive in the state for work. I was pulled over a little over a month ago while driving my fiance's car. Her inspection was outdated. Clearly, as soon as I was pulled over I assummed I'd be arrested, have my license suspended for another year, etc. I was a nervous wreck. The officer took my license and her registration and came back to the car, was very nice, and gave me a ticket for failure to display current inspection. My license suspension in NJ is up in the beginning of December. My question is, since nothing happened that day, and I haven't heard anything since, will this effect the eligibility of my license restoration in December? I've heard that this type of ticket doesn't appear on a NJ driver's abstract and isn't technically a moving violation so it will not effect my license restoration. If anyone has any info at all it would be GREATLY appreciated!

If they don't notify you, or have not yet, then you are likely going to avoid any problem. You normally would have been informed by now.
