Default Sleeping in the car drunk...

I was sleeping in the car after my friend drove me to my place... cuz obviously i was so drunk...
a cop wake me up and told me that i am under arrest since the car key was on the car (because it was so HOT it was in the summer).

What should i do?

I don't want to plead guilty since I wasnt driving...

HELP ME OUT!

I am in Canada actually but Why is it illegal to sleep in the car while being drunk it better than driving

Get a lawyer that specializes in DWIs. If what is in the police report of the incident is as you reported here, you can get out of it with a lawyer.

Which state are you from? Also ask your friend to testify for u. Secondly get an experienced DWI Lawyer for yourself.

Yeah he is right you must get a qualified DWI Lawyer. But before you do that, it is advisable that you have a talk with that particular lawyer.By doing this, you will get to know the strategies that are implemented by the lawyer. If you are not comfortable with his strategy, don’t hire him.
