My son was arrested 2-15 went to court to request bond reduction 2-19, the prosecution lost his file, the judge advised them to locate it with in 48 hours, now the prosecutor will not return my attorneys phone calls or faxes, do we legally have to wait? 7 days according to casenet.com but thats not what the judge advised them at the time they were advised 48 hours, the prosecutor doesnt like my brother in law so I know he will not lower bond and will let my son sit there for how ever long it takes.

You need to have counsel calling in there each day or even each hour until this is resolved or he may very well sit there for a good deal of time.
You have to push them to find the files etc. and act. |
