inmate rights on cavity searches based from hearsay
While serving a sentence at the Gaines County Detention Facility in
Seminole Texas, I was given a cavity search based on a hearsay call. My sentence was for a misdemeanor possesion of marjijuana charge and the search warrant was for meth. I have no criminal history of meth. I would like to file some kind of charges on the alleged caller for given false information and damages. Can I request the tape from the call under the Freedom of information act? Also have my inmate civil rights been violated at a County ficility. What steps shall I take. Desperately, Linda |

If you can show it was done completely frivolously it is possible you could take action. A lawyer could subpoena the records...
