warrant issued for possession of coke in FL

what happens if I do not turn myself in for this warrant. I was never arrested and a Post card was sent, by the Sheriff's office, to old address and forwarded by Post office to out of state address. Will I be a "fugitive" for the rest of my life? What if I change my name?

You could be stopped and picked up by the police yes--but it may be only in that state where the warrant is issued that they would arrest you.
