Court Procedures
In a case of misdemeaner charges for possession and paraphernalia, my options are to plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest. If i were to plead guilty, how many court appearances would this require, just the one time? If i were to plead no contest, how many appearances would this require? If I plead no contest are the reprocutions the same as pleading guilty? I am trying to avoid making multiple trips to an out of state court. Also the court office had said something about doing the pleading through a fax machine, is that only if I decide to plead not guilty?
