whats going on

got busted dec, 22 ,07 at my house they got me with less then hafe ounce.of pot they arested me , took me to jail . i was in cell for 40 min ,then they finger printed me and let me go on a pfi. its now 3,27 ,08. how much time do they have to do somthing to me ? i have a clean record .in michigan

... if it drags on you can ask the court for a dismissal.

Check with your local DA about any absolute deadlines that state law may set as to commencement of the case.

thanks, but dont want to ask court or da bout it ,cause dont know if it got to them yet or if it will. im just guessing though

Man, it's only half o. If the penalty isn't that heavy I would go ahead and take care of it just in case they have a warrant out for failure to appear.
In Mississippi we have some of the toughest drug laws in the country and for that charge it is only max $250.00 fine.
