Child Abduction

I am an Indian citizen on H4 dependent visa living in Wisconsin, USA. I have a toddler son.My husband is an abuser. I have recently received Employment Authorization (EAD) on his GC petition. I want to start working and be independent but my husband threatens to pull out my EAD if I work. I have now received a job offer willing to sponsor my H1 but the job is in Michigan State. My husband does not support me in taking up the job. I have been informed that if I take my child to Michigan without a written consent from my husband, he can charge me with abduction. My husband is also forcing me to go back to India with our son. I know that even that will amount to abduction. What form of consent other than the written, notarized form is acceptable. Is an email or verbal recording acceptable form of consent? My husband would never sign a written consent.
Please help.

It is normally not abduction unless a court order exists.

Check with the police in both states and and ask if you can take the child.

If problems emerge, appear in court and have the trip authorized.
