Unhappy child abuse

my husband was arested twice for abusing me then i dropped the order of pro and charges since i was due to give birth to his second child. 3 years later he started abusing me again not kids and beat me the next day he tried to hit me and i hit him with a spatula and got arrested and havent seem my kids
he told the police after i hit him i hit them and i did not the police didnt look at my bruses and arrested me
cps is involved and how do i prove self defense the atttornys and judge would look at old docket numbers and any previous arrest info since they were sealed my kids are 4 and 5 i have been home with them for 6 years including both pregnancys and have no money and i the ward of the state ,, do i have a case
his family has money ,,, what do i do ,,, being on the other side and defending myself has caused more harm to me than taking the abuse

File for divorce immediately and for god's sake, don't allow him back into your life. 3 years later he starts the abuse again. Once an abuser always an abuser. Stop letting this coward back into your life.

You can file for divorce without an attorney. But you may need legal aid. Check with your local legal aid assistance program.

If you cant get legal aid, ask world Law if they will provide some free assistance or court papers help etc. They may do so. They helped with a free response on a motion to modify for me when I was unemployed last January.

Children require guidance and sympathy far more than instruction.

“Child abuse continues to be a significant problem in the United States. It was estimated that in 2001, 903,000 children were the victims of child abuse or neglect. Child abuse is a crime perpetrated on the innocent and the defenseless.”

Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.
