Dual Restraining Order (domestic violence)
My fiance and I were involved in a domestic violence situation. He was arrested. Tempoary protective order granted to me, he counterclaimed, judge granted dual restraining orders, his attorney sent letter demanding the return of the gift he had given to my daughter for her birthday (laptop computer). His attorney threatened that if the computer has been removed from the house he would file a contempt of order against me. What to do? I do not have an attorney. This is only a continuance of his abuse.

Does the order address the gift? If not you need not do anything.
Gifts do not have to be returned. |
