PLEASE HELP

My boyfriend is being charged with a 2nd domestic violence. However, he did not do anything to me. Myself, and two other witnesses know this, and what happened is we left the bar and he started to walk away cause he was drunk and i started to run after him and slipped and fell on the ice. I busted my lip open when i fell, and my 2 witnesses saw this, but the cops showed up (it was the biggest bar night of the year) and saw that ihad a bleeding lip, but that was it. they saw his record and arrested. do u think we can get the case dismissed when there is no evidence esp. having two witnesses that can testify? does he have a pretty good shot? im really upset about this cause he didnt do anything wrong!!!

-- Try speaking to the DA, They have the right to continue to pursue the case on their own (even if you don't want them to) but if they feel this was a one-time incident and will never happen again--they may drop it. They want to make sure no abuse is occurring when you two are back together.
