Default Protected person contacted me: Does this negate the restraining order?
If someone contacts me that has a restraining order on me does this negate the restraining order? I was never served with temporary restraining order papers. I was served with permanent restraining order papers after the person contacted me and we spent time together for almost 2 months. The cops served me and had me sign her copy of the papers by my name where there was no line to sign. I never knew about a court hearing. Even if I had which I didn't would it still be negated? Please help me as much as you can with these questions. I am leaving her alone and have. I just don't need this on my record. Thanks for your time.
