State Weapons Disabilities
I am a Veteran and am being told that I can't own a gun because of the only time I ever was arrested was in 2002 in the state of Nevada. I did everything the court asked of me. I was planning on going on a hunting trip last month as a friend had invited me along. I found out that I was unable to purchase a gun for the trip because of a D. V. charge on my record ! IS THIS TRUE? If so, does it ever go away? Is there a way to make it go away? Hell I am no f#$&*ing criminal!!
Hell I don't drink or smoke nothin', and I am definately going to rally to get this law changed this is freakin' nuts!!! Hell I guess I will have to check out the black market..... Last edited by CaliforniaDan; Nov 15th, 2008 at 07:40 PM. |

What was your conviction?
Unfortunately unless it is expunged, yes, they can prevent gun ownership and use. |
